About the Team APIs are at the center of how Capital One builds and manages the technology foundation of the company. While this role will have general PM responsibilities in various aspects of API management, the focus is on the broad API ecosystem, including how we offer industry-leading AI-centric capabilities while enabling API developers to meet security and governance standards. We’re passionate about building platform software for the next generation of developers at Capital One and are looking for someone excited to build lovable yet rock-solid solutions at scale. Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- MBA or Master’s degree
- Experience with API platforms or API management in an enterprise environment
- Experience with cyber security, especially with APIs and cross-enterprise (internal/external) use cases
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification
