Manager, API Product Management The Manager, API Product Management will support the continued evolution of American Express’s API strategy across Global Merchant and Network Services. APIs are foundational to how American Express enables partners, accelerates innovation, and delivers scalable customer experiences. This role plays a critical part in shaping API products that are intuitive to adopt, easy to integrate, and aligned to business outcomes. This is a product-forward role focused on defining and delivering API capabilities as consumable products—balancing partner and developer experience, platform consistency, and enterprise priorities. The Manager will act as a connector between business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering, ensuring API capabilities are positioned as enablers of growth rather than purely technical assets. An effective API Product Manager brings strong product instincts, working technical fluency, and a passion for building experiences that developers and partners want to use.
