About The Position

The role of Product Line Manager (PLM) is to manage and support a portfolio of RF/MW Semiconductor RF Diodes. The Product Manager supports and coordinates key aspects of the product portfolio in a matrixed environment, working closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and product marketing professionals. This role contributes to new product development, product lifecycle management, and factory technical product support within the RF/Microwave Business Unit. The Product Manager collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products and enhance existing ones through yield improvement initiatives and cost optimization efforts. This role also offers opportunities to mentor and provide technical guidance to product engineers and team members. Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, or guiding technical staff is highly valued and may support future leadership growth opportunities, though formal people-management responsibilities are not required for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in product management, preferably within the RF/Microwave industry
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, or providing technical guidance to product engineers or team members
  • Proficiency in using product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and software
  • Proven track record of managing product lines from concept through end-of-life
  • Strong understanding of RF and microwave technologies, including design, development, and application
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for defense products
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyze market trends and customer needs
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Ability to influence and drive decision-making processes
  • U.S. Export Controls Requirements: This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Responsibilities

  • Supports the RF diode product portfolio (Schottky, PIN, Varactor, Gunn, Tunnel, Limiter; packaged and unpackaged)
  • Collaborates with and provides guidance to engineers and technicians supporting the product portfolio
  • Assists in managing the product lifecycle, including concept, design, validation, qualification, production documentation, and NPI in partnership with operations
  • Works with Product Marketing to support new product development plans, customer proposals, custom solutions, pricing inputs, and competitive analysis
  • Identifies and recommends marketing opportunities aligned with product objectives
  • Analyze product yield and prioritize and drive specific yield improvement programs
  • Participates in RMA reviews and supports failure analysis activities across relevant teams
  • Prepares materials for internal and external presentations on products and related initiatives
  • Monitors competitive activity and contributes to product requirements and customer needs analysis
  • Communicates customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing, and sales to support product improvements
  • Supports customer engagements and visits as needed to achieve product sales goals

  • The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $91,000 - $232,000.
  • Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
