Who are we looking for?Drive the WaterCARE product line strategic plan in coordination and alignment with the Global Product Line Managers, Global Strategic Marketing, and the Regional Marketing / Industry Manager. The position works in close alignment to the commercial field team in the Americas to drive and assist closing commercial opportunities. Manage the WaterCARE technical service team and be responsible for all the products within the designated segment, to include but not limited to: Harmonization of products, Raw materials (pricing, issues etc.), assistance with customer/R&D strategic projects, training and technical acumen of the product line.What will you be doing?The coordination of customer support activities supporting the commercial team’s efforts to maintain, grow, or capture new business in the Americas. Candidate should be comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution >50% +/- overall travel requirement for the above

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Chemistry, Engineering, or related field (required)
  • 5-8+ years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment or chemical metal finishing in a technical or managerial position.
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software; ability to generate documents and spreadsheets in Microsoft Word and Excel as required to support job function.
  • Must have experience presenting to internal, customer, and industry groups.
  • Must be able to understand and follow analytical procedures and make decisions concerning the validity of the data.
  • Must have experience solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in an industrial wastewater setting.
  • Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage technical support services with the sales and service teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers and internal manufacturing facilities to optimize product pricing, availability and quality.
  • Provide R&D and formulations support to ensure that activities align with commercial efforts and needs.
  • Manage laboratory activities related to the WaterCARE portfolio and develop laboratory capabilities to effectively serve our customers.
  • Provide high-level technical support and expertise to MEIS colleagues and customers when required.
  • Ascertain the quality of technical training programs, technical resources, and support services.
  • Author technical papers, deliver technical presentations, and engage in industry groups and trade shows.
  • Identify industry demands and evolutions and how we can align our focus accordingly.
  • Support, participate in, and lead training for the America’s Plating Academy
  • Responsible of all product line related matters
  • Create and execute the product rationalization program in alignment with the global organization.
