The Impact You’ll Drive: Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and mentor a team of engineers across mechanical and product engineering disciplines Support both new product development and sustaining engineering efforts Create an environment that promotes accountability, ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence Ensure role clarity, proactive career development, and continuous feedback through regular coaching and performance discussions Plan and manage engineering capacity and priorities to focus the team on the highest-value work Strategic Execution & Delivery Translate organizational and product strategy into actionable engineering plans with clear milestones, success criteria, and measurable outcomes Own engineering execution to ensure commitments are met with predictable timelines and high-quality results Identify and remove technical and organizational blockers while improving communication and transparency Drive measurable improvements in launch readiness, engineering cycle time, cost, and quality performance Operational Excellence Identify opportunities to improve best practices in project management, engineering workflows, and product development processes Partner closely with Manufacturing to improve manufacturability, scalability, and product reliability Provide hands-on leadership during product launches, ramp-ups, and production issue resolution Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts when issues arise Collaborate with product, quality, supply chain, and business stakeholders to drive shared accountability for outcomes Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Product and Program teams to balance strategic priorities with execution realities Facilitate alignment discussions to ensure the right problems are solved with the right resources at the right time Communicate progress, risks, insights, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership What Sets You Up for Success: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree a plus 7+ years of product engineering experience, with 2+ years preferred in a technical leadership or engineering management role Demonstrated success leading teams through change while improving execution discipline and delivery predictability Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across functions without direct authority Passion for developing people, building healthy teams, and driving toward measurable outcomes Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a manufacturing environment Practical experience leading engineering systems and processes, including DFMEA, DVP&R, CAD, CAE, and drawing development Preferred experience with 8D or A3 problem solving, use of Six Sigma tools and strong financial acumen Work Environment On-site role supporting engineering and manufacturing teams Regular cross-functional collaboration and involvement in product launches and operational initiatives The Value We Offer: Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Prescription Plan 401(k) with company match Tuition Reimbursement Disability Plan Paid Vacation and 10 Holidays Health Club Reimbursement Bonus program Wellness program Ready to Make an Impact?
