Overview The Manager, Private Brands Commercialization, plays a key role in the execution of both strategic and day-to-day portfolio initiatives through strong collaboration with both contract manufacturing and internal partners. Effectively manage supply chain areas which may encompass select raw material and other product components, production planning guidance, and support activities to maintain target inventory levels. Troubleshoot end-to-end commercialization challenges with a solution savvy approach while always keeping the customer experience top of mind. Responsibilities Launch Private Brand products, on time and in full. Strategic Vendor Management to improve Quality, Reduce Costs, and Drive Manufacturing Efficiency leading to higher in stocks by: Lead the weekly / biweekly communication with contract manufacturers to ensure that all parties are on the same page. Manage the timelines and workbacks to ensure that launches are successful. Work on solutions as issues arise and communicate with our partners when necessary. Address and resolve issues that occur throughout production including raw material shortages, packaging supply constraints, and formula challenges. Manage the end-to-end initial commercialization process for all skus with vendors including flavoring, scale ups, and finished goods production runs. Manage the sku transfer process with vendors including pilot runs, scale ups, and finished product production runs. Drive multi-team internal and external collaboration to successfully execute day-to-day operations as well as complex strategic projects. Lead and/or participate in additional projects with cross functional teams including Supply Chain, Quality, Wholesale, and Operations. Assist with the assortment rationalization standard operating process working directly with vendors to mitigate liabilities and facilitate timely execution. Facilitate Business Reviews on a Quarterly or Semi-Annual basis dependent on vendor portfolio size. Other Functions: Supports strategic organizational objectives and initiatives, as necessary. Performs other duties as required. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage 1-2 direct reports with shifts to be discussed with department head. Future potential to direct, guide, and evaluate additional staff members.
