Position Purpose: Oversee the data privacy compliance program to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations across the organization. Manage a team of privacy analysts that are handling incident response and DLP Monitor and audit privacy compliance program processes and documentation to ensure compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements Coordinate with other functional areas to address data privacy compliance issues and concerns that impact the business Conduct investigations into data privacy incidents Develop, implement and manage corrective actions to remediate incidents of data privacy non-compliance Develop and maintain reporting metrics of data privacy department activities Conduct training on data privacy requirements and policies Maintain and track new or emerging laws, regulations and statutes that impact how the organization manages the data privacy program Provide guidance regarding data privacy compliance processes and requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of privacy compliance experience
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy, Security and Breach rule requirements is strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience identifying, interpreting and implementing new data privacy regulations is preferred
  • Experience in GDPR, PCI, 42 C.F.R. Part 2 or State breach laws is a plus
  • Data privacy professional certification preferred

Responsibilities
