About The Position

This role is based in McLean, VA (Position allows full remote work from anywhere in the U.S.) What will I be doing? Solve issues and observations reported by internal and external customers. Partner with Business, Partner, and Switch collaborators to guide partners through successfully connecting to Hilton's Distribution APIs. Review planned and completed new and changed functionality relating to distribution solutions. Build, review, and update Developer Guides, Developer Portal and other tools to provide process and technical reference information to partners. Identify process and tool improvements related to Distribution APIs, tools, and partner onboarding. Solve Incidents/Problems and participating in continuous improvement efforts. Supervise direct reports.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and five (5) years of experience as Software Engineer/Developer, System Analyst or related.
  • Require experience with technical customer service, APIs, build, or production support; utilizing REST APIs, JSON and XML formats, and previous hospitality experience; designing, developing, troubleshooting, and testing QA Software; building enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggesting improvements to the architecture; designing, developing, and troubleshooting the Web Services and Web applications; and utilizing the software development lifecycle process.
  • Job requires 10% domestic travel.
