He/she acts as a key partner to leadership, ensuring an engaging employee experience while providing a safe, efficient, and inspiring work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Facilities Management, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities, or employee experience roles within a corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to manage site operations, engagement programs, and compliance reporting (AAP, EEO, VETs).
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Skilled in project management, vendor coordination, and policy administration.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative leader with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HR or facility systems a plus.
  • On-site presence required in Shelton, CT, with flexibility for events or travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the social & engagement strategy for the site in close collaboration with HR Leadership team in Shelton
  • Plan and execute high-impact Engagement projects enhancing employee engagement, well-being, and company culture.
  • Partner with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support their annual event calendar, ensuring alignment with site activities, smooth coordination of logistics, and consistent visibility across the employee experience.
  • Induction seminars and onboarding programs.
  • Celebration & recognition initiatives
  • Own the design and updating of Service Anniversary Award Program
  • Health & well-being programs (Cancer & Chronic Disease support, Mental Health awareness).
  • Sports & wellness activities (challenges, classes, nutrition guidance).
  • Foster One BIC momentum, strengthening cohesion, identity, and collective energy.
  • Manage and organize/oversee team-building highlights: celebrations, after-work events, team gatherings, breakfasts, annual holiday celebrations etc..
  • Develop internal communities and networks (managers, ambassadors, employee resource groups).
  • Oversee building and infrastructure operations: preventive/corrective maintenance, safety compliance, and space optimization.
  • Manage workplace and employee services: reception, mail, printing, catering, concierge, cleaning, waste management, cafeteria & company store management.
  • Ensure health, safety & environment compliance: workplace safety policies, evacuation plans, and fire drills, etc.
  • Act as POC for site specific policy updates and improvements ensuring alignment with leadership and communication to the Shelton population.
  • Oversee management of fleet car accounts
  • Oversee and manage Affirmative Action Plan (AAP/APP) reporting, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across all sites.
  • Maintain and update Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Veterans' (VETs) reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Coordinate with the Legal department and external vendor (Berkshire) to prepare, validate, and file all required reports.
  • Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and site leadership to collect and analyze workforce data for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure all reporting deadlines are met and documentation is maintained for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain the Shelton policy database, ensuring it accurately reflects all policies listed on the Shelton HR Portal.
  • Track policy ownership and status, including whether a policy is current, under review, or requires updates.
  • Conduct periodic check-ins with policy owners to confirm review cycles and identify necessary updates.
  • Ensure annual updates are completed in accordance with benefit changes, in partnership with the Total Rewards team.
  • Maintain and update policy information directly within the HR Portal to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
