Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager- Operations Engineering. Primary Tasks: Serve as the lead interface to achieve organizational excellence and directs operations and deliverables within Engineering Department. Develop and implement departmental planned short and long-term goals and objectives. Develop and implement departmental planned short and long-term goals and objectives. Utilize standard tools for solid modeling, FEA analysis, and Auto CAD design. Manage multiple project life cycles effectively and efficiently. Segregate and assign costs to projects. Collaborate with other functional areas to initiate product development, establish project priorities, schedules, and budget parameters. Lead product design from design to execution. Recommends methods, materials, and layouts for improvement based on manufacturing needs and capabilities. Develop and leads engineering procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained. Provides engineering expertise in the areas of tooling, prints, specifications, product maintenance, and raw materials. Responsible for mentorship, evaluations, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees. Ensure products meet regulating agency approvals and requirements. Keep abreast of technological changes and developments in the field. Ensure the Engineering Department meets and exceeds business goals while employing industry best practices and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of organizational commitments. Participate in major customer reviews, program discussions, and technical evaluations. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
