The role of our Manager, Operational Procurement for Poultry, is to drive co-creation of value and grow the business overall with our customers. Through Coaching and supporting the team of operational buyers and manufacturing planners. The Manager, Operational Procurement for Poultry, is responsible for the short-term planning, 5 weeks ahead, for manufacturing, assembly and warehouse planning and for our suppliers. The Manager of Operational Procurement for Poultry is responsible for a team of approximately 5 employees. Among other tasks, here’s what you’ll be doing as Manager of Operational Procurement for Poultry Setting the goals for both the team and the individual employees and guarding the progress of these goals Developing, executing, and monitoring the operational plan Monitoring, analyzing and evaluating effectiveness and efficiency to ensure the identified operational Key Result Indicators are realized Initiating corrective and preventive measures, when necessary Implementing continuous improvement initiatives focused on the reduction of costs, the improvement of productivity, product quality and delivery performance, by applying uniform methods and business standards Ensuring a safe, healthy and environmental-friendly work environment Ensuring proper coordination with the production, assembly and warehouse managers Ensuring low sick leave, responsible for coaching employees during their reintegration process Managing, coaching, developing and motivating the employees Coaching apprentices What kind of person are you? Vocational education, preferably in a technical area
Approximately 3 years’ experience in a management position
Knowledge of and affinity with Supply Chain processes
Affinity with both technical processing and planning processes
Fluent in both the local language and in English
Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage

Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
