About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on RPM Raceway – Manager on Duty (MOD) to oversee daily operations, support team performance, and ensure an exceptional guest/customer experience. This role is responsible for providing leadership during assigned shifts, maintaining operational standards, and acting as the primary decision-maker in the absence of senior management.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or MOD role (restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similar environment preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and proactive in fast‑paced environments.
  • Knowledge of operational procedures, safety guidelines, and customer service best practices.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership Serve as the Manager on Duty, overseeing all front-of-house and/or back-of-house operations.
  • Ensure smooth shift execution, including opening, mid-shift, and closing duties.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take action to maintain productivity and service levels.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Team Management Provide on-shift leadership, coaching, and support to team members.
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and performance development.
  • Resolve staff concerns or conflicts professionally and promptly.
  • Customer/Guest Experience Uphold a high standard of service and hospitality at all times.
  • Respond to guest questions, concerns, and escalations with confidence and professionalism.
  • Ensure service recovery steps are followed to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Administrative Duties Complete shift reports, incident logs, and operational checklists.
  • Assist with scheduling needs, labor management, and shift coverage.
  • Support inventory management and assist with ordering as needed.
