About The Position

Carson Plains Casino in Dayton is looking for a Manager on Duty! The Manager on Duty Achieves Company objectives in Customer Service, quality of service, and appearance of facility. Creates a positive, productive working environment. Oversees the guests and operations of the Casino Floor. Willing to work variable shifts, including graveyard.

Requirements

Minimum six months previous supervisory experience in a casino setting is preferred.
Must be professional and friendly and be able to get along with coworkers and work as a team.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent customer service skills required.
Possess excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Familiar and proficient in the use of a Point-of-Sale register.
Familiar with standard office equipment including ten key calculator, copier, scanner, and desktop computer.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must possess excellent math skills; able to calculate money accurately.
Must be able to stand for entire shift.
Must be able to work in a casino environment with loud background noise and a smoky atmosphere.
Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum 25 pounds, and can move about the casino and operational areas.
Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, twist, crouch, squat, lift.
Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.

Responsibilities

Ensure all Guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always.
Maintains adequate staffing levels and utilizes Early Outs as business needs warrant.
Control cash handling on the casino floor by adhering to Company and Gaming policies and procedures.
Assist in all departments to ensure Guest satisfaction and efficient operations.
Verify that all machines and equipment are in working condition, reports maintenance issues to proper departments.
Assist in the implementation of Casino marketing, advertising, and promotional activities, and campaigns.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, labor, and gaming requirements of the Casino, its employees, and Guests.
Ensure that employees have necessary supplies to efficiently provide excellent guest service.
Maintains confidentiality of all relevant information concerning guests, employees, and company assets.
Monitor Surveillance.
Investigates accidents/incidents involving Guests and Employees and prepares Incident Reports for Management and Human Resources.
Adheres to all departmental, health, and safety standards.
Plan, assign, and direct Employees work duties and tasks.
Resolves guest complaints and/or service deficiencies and resolve issues.
Attend Management meetings.
