About The Position

As our newest Manager, eCommerce Strategy & Operations – Omnichannel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Freshpet’s digital footprint across retailers like Walmart, Kroger, Petco, PetSmart, Sam’s Club, and more. You’ll work cross-functionally to drive high impact growth strategies, unlock operational efficiencies, and elevate our brand in a rapidly evolving omnichannel landscape.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital retail, CPG, and performance media.
  • Fluency in omnichannel growth drivers: supply chain, content health, search engine optimization, post-purchase experience, UX, and media.
  • Strategic thinking paired with sharp executional instincts.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, creative, finance, and external agencies.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills and comfort with data storytelling.

  • Experience in forecasting, P&L management, and business planning a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Omnichannel Financial Plan, inclusive of revenue, share, and profitability targets.
  • Own forecasting, budgeting, and performance management across key accounts.
  • Provide senior leadership with clear visibility into growth levers, headwinds, tailwinds, and priorities.
  • Develop and execute Omnichannel business plans in partnership with Customer Business Teams and HQ cross-functional teams (finance, business intelligence, marketing, media, supply chain). This includes ensuring our eCommerce best practices around product supply, assortment, site content, search, site taxonomy, ratings, and reviews are incorporated into customer plans.
  • Assess key flywheel opportunities, develop and drive projects to address opportunities, record learnings, and share best practices across the Freshpet organization.
  • Drive retail media omnichannel planning and activations for Freshpet product lines at retail partners through collaboration with Customer Business Team, retailers (mass, grocery, club, pet specialty, natural), and external agencies.
  • Develop and build strategies for best-in-class conversion to propel our business in achieving our aggressive growth goals.
  • Responsible for brief development, brainstorms, idea sell-in, execution, and post-campaign performance reviews.
  • Responsible for analytics, testing creative assets, and development of the retail media playbook at each retailer.
  • Manage agencies, partnerships, and cross functional stakeholders as necessary to ensure program success.
  • Partner with our retailers to improve their digital commerce capabilities and roadmap. This includes capability assessments, strategy development, and digital category captainships on how to achieve best in class user experiences for the end-consumer.
  • Be seen as a thought leader with our customers and provide strategic opportunities that help grow our shared business.
  • Execute Customer Marketing Plans with the retail sales team, inclusive of in-store shopper activations, digital coupons, newsletters & flyers – all driven in alignment with the omnichannel playbook by retailer.
  • Provide leadership to junior staff and peers by demonstrating our Freshpet values, mentoring the next generation of leaders, and clearly articulating vision for the future.
