Manage volunteer operations. Coordinate, integrate, and implement volunteer representative services within all departments requesting volunteer assistance. Manage the development and implementation of policies and procedure that guide and support the services offered. Determine the qualifications and competence of volunteer personnel. Select, recruit and manage volunteers. Implement orientation and in-service training. Manage department functions and maintain appropriate quality control through continuous assessment and improvement practices. Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. Participate on various committees and councils to identify opportunities for patient services improvement and subsequently deploy volunteer services accordingly.
