About The Position

The Manager of Regional Service is accountable for driving growth and profitability within the Parts and Service Divisions of a designated business unit. This role focuses on building a skilled, customer-focused team and implementing innovative service programs. The Manager sets rental-ready standards across the assigned territory, ensures consistency in service operations, and fosters a safety-first culture throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the regional Profit and Loss (P&L) statement by analyzing and controlling expenditures to align with divisional budget requirements, making strategic decisions as needed to ensure profitability.
  • Builds and leads a competent branch team through effective hiring, training, development, delegation, performance appraisals, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Develops and submits talent inventory assessments to evaluate branch strength and identify ongoing training opportunities.
  • Plans, manages, and oversees all service-related activities, continuously improving service department operations through research and implementation of new techniques and procedures.
  • Establishes measurable goals and accountability systems for contamination control, administers safety programs, coordinates training, and ensures compliance with company and government safety standards.
  • Serves as the primary customer contact for all service-related matters, including technical issues, diagnostics, invoicing, and repairs, while proactively reviewing service history, warranty records, and support programs to anticipate future needs.
  • Makes policy and rework decisions that balance customer satisfaction with company interests.
  • Analyzes market data to determine customer needs, volume potential, pricing strategies, and discount structures, collaborating with sales to develop promotional campaigns.
  • Routinely assesses employee skills and expertise, securing training as needed to stay current with industry developments and minimize customer downtime.
  • Directs regional service operations by recommending best practices, reducing costs, driving revenue growth, and supporting customer satisfaction.
  • Develops and maintains performance metrics, prepares and reports on annual budget proposals.
  • Promotes organizational advocacy by fostering teamwork, trust, and mutual respect among employees and customers.
  • Implements initiatives that support RAKA - The Cat Rental Store's vision and core values, aligning regional efforts to deliver quality customer experiences.
