This role will directly support the firm’s growth strategy. This role will be a critical part of the firm’s continued growth and infrastructure expansion. The firm is seeking an experienced and highly organized Manager of Recruiting to work collaboratively with the Vice President of Success & Operations. This role will manage/support the firm’s non-shareholder attorney recruiting, and roles for paralegals and business team members but could have some overlap with administrative tasks related to lateral Shareholders. While this role is not a traditional HR or recruiting role , it will collaborate with Operations to ensure a seamless and high-quality recruiting and onboarding experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7-10+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
  • Law firm or professional services experience highly preferred
  • Experience recruiting professional staff in a law firm or professional services organization
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to take direction and execute tasks/projects accurately
  • A high degree of situational awareness with the ability to seek clarification, always keeping leadership in the loop first before executing tasks.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and to be flexible due to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the administrative tasks related to recruiting for non-shareholder attorneys, including associates and senior counsel with the potential for administrative support for lateral Shareholders as needed.
  • Manage recruiting for paralegals and business team professionals as needed
  • Partner with practice group leadership on staffing needs as directed and needed
  • Coordinate candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers as directed and in collaboration with HR.
  • Manage relationships with external legal recruiters where appropriate and as needed
  • Align recruiting with firm growth, office expansion, and infrastructure planning
  • Support recruiting across multiple offices
  • Manage the candidate experience from outreach through onboarding handoff
  • Coordinate interview logistics and feedback with the Vice President of Success & Operations and hiring managers
  • Collaborate with HR and Operations - onboarding handoff
  • Collaborate closely with Vice President & Operations on compensation and specific offer letter terms.
  • Assist with job description development as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
