About The Position

Develops and implements fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals and targets within a given time frame. Manages and executes Foundation events and programs as assigned. Advances the cause of the organization through philanthropic activities to build a network and make connections that develop relationships and lead to opportunities. Must be available for weeknight and weekend events. Responsible for timely compliance with all Management Company and Foundation programs and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 3-5 years development experience in a non-profit environment required.
  • Public speaking experience required.

  • Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, plans, and executes Foundation events and programs, including logistics, communications, promotions, collateral, team and sponsor recruitment to increase visibility and support for NJ Sharing Network.
  • Identifies and manages on the development of collateral pieces, and other presentations as it relates to the Foundation.
  • Manages all assigned special events, third party fundraising events, and Foundation programs.
  • Collaborates with the Foundation Staff to develop and implement cultivation strategies for contributors and prospects.
  • Collaborates on the annual appeal and major gift initiatives.
  • Manages and facilitates committees and tasks forces as assigned.
  • Establishes and fosters relationships with key contributors, volunteers, board members, and the community to further Foundation programs and initiatives.
  • Develops personalized stewardship programs for the Foundation Major Gift campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborates with other NJ Sharing Network staff to identify and increase participation in Network and Foundation events.
  • Utilizes key reports from Raiser’s Edge in order to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Participates in other duties as assigned.
  • Participates in department events and programs as directed by managers.
