The Manager of Integration & Operations (“Manager”) is responsible for all activities related to the successful & efficient integration of acquired Optometry practices into the AEG organization and our “Common Operating Platform”. Specific areas of integration and operations includes: 1. Supporting the Operations team (District Managers and Regional Vice Presidents) in the integration of acquired practices into the AEG platform including supporting Operations with training the Management, Doctors and Staff of the acquired practice(s) on Four-Wall Operations 2. Support the Integration and AEG Departments with the transition of services and processes from the acquired practice into the AEG Platform including Call Center services, Billing Support, Marketing procedures, Merchandise management, IT Systems (POS, Accounting and Payroll) 3. Support the acquired practices management, doctors and staff as they learn the AEG Vision Way including helping assess personnel and managing transitions of work scope and responsibilities 4. Educate and Support Operations as we work to improve performance of the acquired practice(s) through training on AEG KPI’s to build and improve upon patient service and operating results 5. Maintain oversight of practice(s) in which you worked with Operations to complete the above to ensure performance tracks to expectations and goals and maintain support to the practices to improve their results The ideal candidate has: a) strong project management skills, organization and communication skills, b) practice level operations experience in the optical / optometry industry; c.) flexibility to engage and support various practice environments as we acquire multi-unit business and single practices and standardize certain elements of each but maintain positive attributes of acquired Although every integration is unique, the Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the AEG standard integration playbook for each practice we acquire supporting Operations and Integration in the process The Manager will be both an Integration Leader and key AEG cultural ambassador at the newly acquired business and should be comfortable coaching, developing personnel and managing troubled situations Depending on the pace of new business, the Manager may be leading multiple integrations simultaneously – each at a various stage of integration. The Manager should expect to spend significant time traveling – including extended stays on the ground at new businesses locations. The Manager will be involved early in the acquisition process to gain familiarity of the practice(s) and once acquired will be actively involved with AEG Operations assisting on the integration. Time spent with an acquired practice will vary by need weighing each situation across the recently acquired practices The Manager will partner with both AEG functions and corresponding functions at the newly acquired company to manage integration plans that will include: Finance & Accounting – Reporting, Revenue Cycle Management, Billing Centers IT / Technology Platforms – conversion to AEG POS/EHR Systems, HRIS Systems, Accounting software, ERP systems. Product Supply Chain – Frame, Lens & Contact Lens Inventory & Assortment Planning, Change to AEG Lens Labs and Lens Assortment. Marketing – Recall Programs, Website Migration HR – Benefits, Payroll, Employment Agreements, Employee Census to be entered into HRIS System, Employee On-Boarding, Talent Assessment Retail Operations – Sales & Service Policies, Call Center Support Doctor Operations – Employment Agreements, Credentialing Coordinate with AEG’s Operations team to ensure that AEG will effectively manage the practices performance Day 1 after acquisition including access to operating performance reports and business processes. Manage the overall integration of an acquired practice(s), addressing issues and risks by working with the acquired team members and AEG function leaders and ensure that the workplan stays on calendar and costs Communicate to AEG Integration, Financial and Operations on project progress, concerns and challenges to make certain issues are addressed upfront and solved with team input
