About The Position

Crawford Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Manager of Information Technology. This full-time management position is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all information technology and telecommunications services for the organization. The manager ensures reliable, secure and efficient technology systems that support operations, employees and member services. Responsibilities include oversight of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, telecommunications systems, business continuity planning and help desk support. The position works closely with leadership and staff across departments to evaluate technology needs, implement solutions, maintain system interoperability, and ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards. The manager also supervises assigned personnel and participates in strategic planning, project management and budgeting. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and at least five years of related experience. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage systems, cybersecurity, database management and Microsoft applications such as Exchange, SharePoint and Office. Experience with mobile device management, telecommunications systems and technology infrastructure is expected. Utility experience is preferred, particularly familiarity with NISC iVUE software; experience with Milsoft, SCADA or AMI systems is desirable. Supervisory experience and strong communication and problem-solving skills are preferred. An equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience may be considered. Requirements

bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
at least five years of related experience
