About The Position

Supervises and coordinates the day-to day- functioning of the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program and H&V Wellness Program across the Froedtert Health System. The Manager has knowledge of and a commitment to care of cardiovascular patients. This individual applies principles of leadership and human relations in the overall coordination and supervision of patient care and staff in the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation departments and oversight of cardiovascular wellness staff working in clinic locations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Cardiovascular Medicine is required.
• Current professional license as required by degree or state is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) is required.
• Requires demonstrated leadership activities in previous roles; the ability to type on a keyboard and learn the use of different computer programs.
• Displays interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with medical staff, leaders, staff and other hospital departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Health Science, Health Administration, or a related healthcare field is required.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory and/or education experience Cardiovascular Medicine is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics, or Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology is preferred.
