The Service Line Administrator is responsible for the leadership and strategic oversight of the operational, financial, and clinical outcomes of their assigned service line within the University of Virginia Health System. Along with the Service Line Physician Leader, this role completes the dyad responsible for all service line outcomes. In concert with Service Line Physician Leadership and Department Chairs, the Administrator serves as a visible champion of performance improvement, quality & patient safety, compliance, and patient engagement across Heart and Vascular Services. In collaboration with Service Line Physician Leadership and Department Chairs, the Administrator will be responsible for developing and overseeing implementation of the strategic plan for the Service Line as well as specific programmatic business plans.
