About The Position

The Manager provides strategic and daily operational leadership for Cardiac Cath (CL), Electrophysiology (EP), Interventional Radiology (IR) or MCS/ECMO/Transport procedural areas in the South Region of the health system. This individual must be able to apply principles of leadership and human relations in the overall leadership of their area(s) and coordination of patient care and personnel for a 24/7 procedural area. This role ensures high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards. The Manager collaborates closely with multidisciplinary leaders and medical staff to advance clinical excellence, operational performance and team engagement across their designated procedural area(s).

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in clinical and operational leadership within a procedural area (e.g. Cath/EP/IR/ECMO/MCS/Transport including leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operations, regulatory compliance, and team development within CL, EP, IR or ECMO/MCS/Transport.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Health Science, Health Administration, or a related healthcare field is required. A combination of relevant clinical experience and leadership background may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
  • Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license, or ARRT registered. If ARRT registered must have current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer, plus 1 of the following appropriate to procedural area: RCES or RCIS or Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV or ARRT-VI. For ECMO/MCS/Transport Department: Requires ECMO Specialist Certification/Training or Certified Clinical Perfusionist, or graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Respiratory Care (CoARC) accredited School for Respiratory care if not a nurse.
  • Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and manage performance in a highly matrixed healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency with office technology, electronic health records, and technology in the specific procedural area.
  • Ability to travel between multiple clinical sites within the South Region as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree Nursing, Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related clinical discipline is preferred.
  • Clinical training or experience related CL, EP, IR or ECMO/MCS/Transport is preferred.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
