Position Summary The Manager of FP&A will spearhead deeper financial analysis of the Front Store business by providing independent and trusted evaluations. This role will report to and assist the Lead Director of Strategic Finance with supporting our Front Store Merchandising categories. This individual will build and maintain easily digestible tools and reports that answer complex business questions, promptly respond to ad hoc inquiries, and provide actionable recommendations to leaders through data driven insights. They should exhibit a proven ability to perform with a high degree of technical skill and accuracy while managing multiple projects. In addition, they will operate with a continuous improvement mindset looking for opportunities to improve process inefficiencies, simplify data visibility, and champion modern BI Tools. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will understand how each workstream impacts our company’s strategy as well as the overall Enterprise goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Retail or CPG industry experience with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting/analytics
  • 5+ years of Retail ERP systems and Microsoft Excel experience
  • 5+ years of experience organizing and managing large data sets in a fast-paced retail environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage initiative integration with our broader Front Store category business
  • Explore store specific sales results to uncover hidden trends and white space opportunities
  • Consult with our Category Merchandising team on financially driven assortment recommendations
  • Research the distinct financials surrounding our Store Brands portfolio
  • Analyze ad-hoc business cases
  • Track ongoing project deliverables across multiple time horizons
  • Share findings with our Leadership team to improve results and drive greater insights
