Stanton products are globally outsourced and imported from a multinational supply base. We are currently seeking a talented Manager of FP&A to join our Woodbury, NY location. The Manager of FP&A will play a key role in supporting the organization by providing financial planning, budgeting, and analysis services. This role partners closely with the CFO, providing strategic insights and decision support to guide financial performance and long-term planning, The Manager of FP&A will oversee companywide financial models, create meaningful analysis, and ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and actionable for leadership. It is critical for the person holding this position to have FP&A experience, preferably in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to present financial information in a concise and easily comprehensible manner to various audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 2+ years in supply chain, operations finance, or FP&A
  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations and the link between P&L, balance sheet, and working capital
  • Proficient in financial system and other database, strong ability in data mining and analytics
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytic and research skills
  • Experience with financial budgeting/forecast leadership, and strong financial analysis skills – including being detail oriented and proficient in building and using complicated data sources
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (AS400/SAP/Oracle/etc.) and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred
  • A highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • MBA/CPA/CFA/CMA preferred.
  • Experience with working capital improvement preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (AS400/SAP/Oracle/etc.) and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
  • Collect, process, and analyze cost and operational data to generate actionable insights
  • Manage daily/monthly financial reporting and analysis activities, including executive management reporting, external reporting and provide associated variance commentary and drive overall financial performance analysis
  • Directly manage assigned team member(s) and provide oversight across the full FP&A function, including coaching, performance evaluations, and development opportunities
  • Assist in the preparation of materials used for Board of Directors presentations
  • Assist with KPIs and Dashboards reporting
  • Assist with monthly close processes (accruals, prepaids, variance analysis etc.)
  • Champion standardization and automation of processes through system and tools enhancement
  • Prepare and present budgets, forecasts, and monthly business reviews to the executive team
  • Serve as a finance business partner to department and division leaders, delivering data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and internal control
  • Support the reporting/budgeting/forecast processes, including revenue and expense assumptions, assessment of risks and opportunities, and analysis for management decision making with respect to supply chain, freight/logistics and operating expenses.
  • Assess various business scenarios and translate changing economic, regulatory and other local conditions into financial implications
  • Support the long-term strategic planning process, ensuring reasonableness of assumptions and output
  • Support the development of CAPEX investments including business justification and financial impact
  • Oversee the detailed financial reporting, planning and analysis of supply chain and logistics costs globally, providing in-depth analysis to senior management
  • Challenge the appropriateness and viability of projections and provide insight on month-end volume and rate variances
  • Lead annual budget, monthly forecast, and long-range planning for supply chain costs, including volume, cost, and productivity assumptions
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate capacity investments, and cost-savings initiatives
  • Perform variance analysis versus budget/forecast; identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
  • Support strategic projects such as network optimization, footprint changes, and make/buy decisions
  • Other duties and ad hoc reporting as needed
