About The Position

The Field Operations Manager ensures compliance with store policy & procedure, proactively corrects operational issues in stores, and coaches field employees on correct operational behavior. The Field Operations Manager must also create and maintain operational procedures and training content.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of Experience in a TCC store or similar setting is required
  • A High school Degree is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Teamwork/collaborative work style
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

  • Associate’s degree (AA) or Bachelor's Degree (B.A. / B.S.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Audits and/or visits all assigned stores (in person or by video conference) at least once per year
  • Assists in training store personnel on operational procedures
  • Coaches field employees on operational procedures (safe management, FIFO, etc.)
  • Ensures PO receipts and Store Transfers are completed following TCC Policy
  • Coaches field employees to limit Aged Inventory and assist with all aged inventory transfers.
  • Reports and resolves store compliance issues related to Cycle Count Policy, Trade-In Policy, DTS Cash Deposit Policy, Verizon Billing (Datascape) variances to TCC Point of Sale (RQ), Return Policy, Sales and Payment Policy, and Safe Management Policy.
  • Monitors Non-Sellable inventory – work with locations to prevent aging over 7 days.
  • Follows up with stores that transfer devices incorrectly to the TCC RLS program.
  • Reviews and recommends field and store support procedure improvements.
  • Routinely analyzes processes, reports the financial impact and corrects issues.
  • Collaborate with other store support departments on field facing projects to ensure all policies and procedures and communication is field ready.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
