About The Position

Oversee engineering and reliability functions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Lead teams focused on engineering and technical services, predictive maintenance analytics, and fleet reliability initiatives. Develop and refine methods to improve aircraft performance while collaborating across departments to implement reliability programs and maintain safety excellence. Provide strategic recommendations and continuous improvements that strengthen maintenance practices and operational reliability.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
  • Valid Passport (able to obtain within 90 Days).
  • Advanced skill in the use of Technical Data, Manuals, Reliability Statistics.
  • Skill in public speaking and presentation, influence and persuasion, approachability and building rapport, organizational and planning techniques, and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of analytical methods and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (listening, oral, and written).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse groups and teams.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, aggressive growth environment.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite of products including Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience with predictive maintenance technology and analytics.
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in an aviation field.
  • Minimum four years' experience in Part 121 operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the collaboration and activities of Reliability Tech Engineers, Aircraft System and Liaison Engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, practices, procedures, processes, and methods required by the PSA Airlines GMM and other technical data, directives, and instructions.
  • Manage the coordination, development, and implementation of fleet reliability initiatives developed by the Reliability Tech Engineering department.
  • Manage the coordination of Liaison Engineering department to include scheduling requirements, department process development, implementation and improvement.
  • Develop and improve methods, processes, and procedures for predictive maintenance analytics to increase fleet reliability.
  • Ensure adequate support is maintained from all associated departments for technical and fleet operational support requests.
  • Maintain oversight and compliance of CASS required documents, inquires and responses for associated departments.
  • Collaborate with other PSA departments to assist, develop, and implement increased reliability initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations to Maintenance Programs for improved inspection or maintenance instructions to increase aircraft reliability.
  • Create and provide various technical reports and data packages as requested.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to policies practices, procedures, processes, and methods utilized by the Maintenance and Engineering Department.
  • Keep senior management apprised of all actual or potentially negative conditions that may affect the aircraft Engineering Support and Reliability Programs.
  • Represent PSA at applicable industry, governmental forums, meetings, conferences etc.
  • Assist and support the Vice President of Technical Services and other senior management in projecting a strong commitment to the uncompromising promotion of safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
