About The Position

As our business continues to evolve, we are investing in the systems, standards, and governance needed to support smarter decisions and scalable growth. We are seeking a strategic and detail-driven Manager of Data Integrity to lead the accuracy, stability, and evolution of our merchandising data and systems. Your Impact As the Manager of Data Integrity, you will be the steward of merchandising data and system reliability. You will ensure item master accuracy, product hierarchy integrity, and consistent data standards across merchandising, planning, pricing, inventory, and e-commerce platforms. This role blends technical expertise with business acumen, you’ll lead a team, partner closely with IT and cross-functional stakeholders, and establish governance frameworks that improve execution, reduce risk, and enable the business to scale with confidence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in retail systems, merchandising operations, data governance, or master data management.
  • Strong understanding of item setup processes, retail hierarchies, SKU-level data structures, and merchandising systems.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and partnering with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience identifying and resolving data integrity issues.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with retail platforms such as Oracle RMS/RPM, SAP CAR/MDG, PIM tools, MDM solutions, or pricing systems.
  • System implementation or major upgrade experience.
  • Prior people leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, MDM best practices).

Responsibilities

  • Own Merchandise Systems Stability: Oversee the configuration, functionality, and stability of merchandising systems (e.g., RMS), ensuring reliable performance and accurate data flow across e-commerce, POS, planning, allocation, and related platforms.
  • Partner with IT & Vendors: Collaborate with IT and external vendors to prioritize enhancements, troubleshoot issues, manage integrations, and drive continuous system improvements.
  • Lead Testing & Deployments: Manage testing and validation cycles for system upgrades, integrations, and new feature deployments to ensure readiness and minimize business disruption.
  • Establish Data Governance: Define and maintain governance frameworks for item attributes, product hierarchies, naming conventions, and classification standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Own Item Master Integrity: Lead item master governance processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all channels and systems.
  • Monitor & Improve Data Quality: Track data quality KPIs, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and lead remediation efforts to protect downstream business processes.
  • Optimize Processes: Streamline item setup, attribute collection, hierarchy maintenance, and data workflows; identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead Root-Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve system or data issues that impact pricing, promotions, digital experiences, or in-store execution.
  • Lead & Develop the Team: Manage, mentor, and develop a team responsible for merchandise systems administration and data governance, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Training & Enablement: Oversee SOPs, documentation, and training programs for new hires, system updates, and process changes; ensure consistent execution across teams and pods.
  • Serve as a Cross-Functional Connector: Act as the primary liaison between Merchandising, Planning, Pricing, E-commerce, Analytics, and IT—translating business needs into system and data requirements.
