Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience (8+ years) in analytics, with a focus on leveraging data to drive insights and support business decisions typically required.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in managing a team of analytics professionals.
Proficiency in statistical analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Solid understanding of analytical techniques, such as regression analysis, predictive modeling, clustering, and segmentation.
Experience working with large and complex datasets, including data extraction, cleaning, and transformation.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex analytical concepts to stakeholders at various levels.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Github, dbtLabs is desired.
Experience with Data Catalog & lineage tool is desired.
Familiarity with insurance industry practices and metrics, including underwriting, claims, and risk management, is preferred.
