Family Care Network, Inc. (FCNI) is a mission-driven nonprofit serving children, youth, adults, and families across San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties. Our team works collaboratively with local county and community-based agencies to provide compassionate, trauma-informed services; including evidence-based mental health treatment, case management, housing and homelessness support, and family-based interventions across Child Welfare, Behavioral Health, and Juvenile Justice systems of care—as well as support for individuals and families experiencing complex challenges who fall outside of these social services. We are currently looking to add a new member to our dynamic team for the position of Manager of Compliance & Administrative Services. This role is responsible for overseeing direct service administrative operations with a strong emphasis on compliance, data integrity, and operational efficiency. This role serves as a key bridge between programs, finance, and leadership, ensuring administrative systems, records, and processes support high-quality service delivery while minimizing funding risk and administrative errors. The Manager of Compliance & Administrative Services supervises administrative staff supporting direct service programs, oversees the administrative launch of new programs , and develops standardized processes across multiple funding streams and client databases. This position requires advanced Excel skills, data literacy, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong understanding of fiscal and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of administrative management experience, preferably in human services, healthcare, or publicly funded programs, including supporting staff in a supervisory role
  • Experience with compliance, audits, data reporting, and administrative quality assurance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data validation, pivot tables, and reporting tools; Power BI report building preferred
  • Experience working with multiple client databases and data management systems
  • Strong understanding of funding requirements and administrative controls

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative functions across all direct service programs, streamlining workflows and standardizing administrative processes to support efficient operations and accurate data entry, tracking, reporting, and billing in alignment with contract, funding, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain fluency in multiple client databases and data systems; oversee all record management including physical and electronic records
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal tracking tools, data reports, audits, and compliance processes to minimize documentation errors, audit risk, and funding losses
  • Conduct regular administrative quality improvement reviews and corrective action planning
  • Utilize advanced Excel, Power BI , and other data tools to automate tracking, reporting, and reconciliation processes
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure administrative services support service delivery, program operations, and fiscal sustainability
  • Serve as key administrative contact during audits and site visits
  • Oversee administrative planning and implementation for all new direct service programs, including standardizing new administrative practices, documentation systems, workflows, compliance, reporting, and admin staff training for the new program
  • Establish accountability structures and provide supervision, training, coaching, and performance oversight for all direct service administrative staff
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
