About The Position

The Manager of Community Engagement will manage the volunteer program, serve as an instrumental liaison to assist with new business development, and lead the in-kind donation efforts. By working with and stewarding relationships with community partners, volunteers, and donors this position will assist with the building of strategic relationships throughout the community to support all Maryhurst programs. A little about Maryhurst. At Maryhurst, our residential programs, community-based homes and our outpatient clinical programs all work to serve children in the greatest need. Our residential programs break the cycle of abuse using treatments that restore hope and successfully transition children to more permanent, community or family-based settings. Maryhurst's community and transitional living programs offer tools that prepare survivors of abuse and neglect for better, more hope-filled futures. And lastly, the team at Maryhurst Renewal partners with children, adults and families who are hurting to find the right combination of support, ultimately clearing barriers to success at home, at school, and in the community. Renewal provides one-on-one, group and family counseling in office, home or school-based settings.

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or equivalent amount of related experience
• Have experience managing volunteer projects
• You encompass a passion for community outreach, partnership development, and relationship stewardship

Responsibilities

• Leading the management of Maryhurst's in-kind donation program by determining needs, establishing community support and partnerships, connecting with key community partners to fill gaps in goods and services, managing inventory, and stewarding donors.
• Collaborating with the Director of Events and Corporate Relations to procure new business development.
• Steward non-event-related corporate sponsors through volunteer engagement
• Leading the management and growth of the Maryhurst volunteer program.
