The St. Louis Public Library is seeking a full-time Manager of Adult Programming and Outreach to develop and manage meaningful programming experiences at Library locations across the City of St. Louis . We are looking for someone enthusiastic about connecting individuals to the Library and working with the public. In this role, you will: Drive the strategic direction for all adult programming and outreach. Work with internal and external partners to offer and evaluate performances and programs in the Library as part of the Library’s efforts to be an inclusive community space for learning and engagement. Develop resources on best practices for program analysis, including data collection and performance metrics, and train staff on these. Accurately handle administrative details of programs and partnerships, including schedules, room setups, contracts, and budgets. Coordinate staff program planning processes, including working with the Marketing department to develop promotional materials. Mentor and guide staff who offer programs across the system to reach new heights. You will need to be: Friendly, outgoing, and able to build relationships at all levels. Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work with competing tasks and priorities. Comfortable creating programs that align with broader strategic priorities. Committed to serving St. Louis Public Library’s diverse customer base and developing your own cultural awareness. Able to see the big picture and promote system-wide consistency and service excellence.
