What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience” Convergint's greatest strength is our people! Support accounting for acquisitions under ASC 805, including identification and valuation of acquired assets and assumed liabilities, goodwill, intangible assets, and contingent consideration. Prepare and review purchase accounting memoranda and support measurement period adjustments. Partner with FP&A, Corporate Development, and valuation specialists to ensure timely and accurate acquisition accounting. Support accounting for stock-based compensation under ASC 718, including review of award terms, modifications, forfeitures, and settlements. Partner with HR, Legal, and Payroll to ensure accurate valuation, tracking, and expense recognition of equity awards. Support development and maintenance of equity compensation accounting policies and disclosures. Research and document accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP for complex or non-routine transactions. Support preparation and review of financial statement footnotes, particularly related to business combinations and equity compensation. Assist with complex monthly reporting areas, including preparation and review of the statement of cash flows and related analyses. Partner with the accounting team to resolve judgmental close items and improve reporting accuracy and consistency. Monitor new accounting standards and support implementation efforts. Prepare documentation and respond to external auditor inquiries related to technical accounting, purchase accounting, stock compensation, and cash flow reporting. Partner with FP&A, Legal, HR, and other stakeholders to evaluate accounting implications of transactions and compensation arrangements. Support public-company readiness initiatives, including disclosure controls and documentation standards. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
