Manager, Network Services
About The Position
The Manager, Network Services is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of the College’s network, server, and cloud infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing IT services that support teaching, learning, and administrative functions across all college locations. This position supervises and develops a team of network and systems administrators, manages related projects and budgets, ensures compliance with security and regulatory standards, and oversees vendor relationships and service agreements. The Manager plays a key role in technology planning, policy development, and operational execution.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree (or higher) in computer science, information technology, or a related field required.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional ( CISSP ) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert ( CCIE ) certification may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with network and server administration, networking protocols, technologies, and security best practices, Windows Server and Linux server operating systems and virtualization technologies required (for applicants with an Associate’s degree)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with network and server administration, networking protocols, technologies and security best practices, Windows Server and Linux server operating systems, and virtualization technologies required (for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or a certification)
- 4 years of experience in a technology management or supervisory role that has overseen or led network engineers or systems administrators required.
Nice To Haves
- ITIL or COBIT Certifications preferred.
