About The Position

The Commercial Finance Manager will enable profitable organizational growth through best-in-class strategic analysis and planning support. This position will provide P&L guidance, support, and insights-driven recommendations for leaders across the US organization to ensure delivery of financial commitments.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and business / financial acumen.
  • Strong technical skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint / Thinkcell, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx) with proven ability to synthesize data to develop insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to create compelling slide deck materials, along with presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects / areas of responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and develop strong partnerships with business partners.
  • Ability to produce accurate results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and execute process improvement recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or business-related field required.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or equivalent marketplace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis and economic analysis to business partners to drive decision-making, effectively drive processes, and ensure appropriate trade-offs across the portfolio.
  • Promote enhanced financial acumen within the marketing organization through collaboration centered on business reviews, results interpretation, insight sharing, and action plans.
  • Assess drivers of margin variance and identify options for margin expansion.
  • Research trends underlying P&L performance; develop processes which help to communicate and interpret franchise P&L results.
  • Support the start-up process that includes analyzing and aligning supporting the delivery of P&L commitments, along with preparation and communication of presentation materials.
  • Serve as a key business partner supporting the launch of new everyday and seasonal portfolio extensions and innovations.
  • Leverage commercial finance tools and analytical approaches (e.g., Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau) that integrating multiple data sources to provide a full picture of top and bottom-line impacts to business choices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure continuity of business analysis capabilities while navigating change management requirements.
  • Provide support to the US Commercial organization by leading special projects and ad-hoc analysis requests.
  • Support new and existing strategic growth workstreams by providing thought leadership, analysis, insights, and recommendations to leadership.
