Qualifications POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for managing the execution of marketing and strategic messaging campaigns, while providing project management and vendor relations support for unit operations. This person will report regularly on project timelines, budgets, and production requirements, as well as analyze the performance of all assigned deliverables. Furthermore, this person will be responsible for growing and managing the e-mail customer database, while supporting the development and deployment of e-mail messaging campaigns to various stakeholders. The salary range for this position is $67,059.72–$83,808.50, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, marketing, public relations, communications, English, or a related field, supplemented by five (5) years of professional experience in marketing or communication. An equivalent combination of education or experience may be considered to satisfy requirements.
  • Experience developing comprehensive marketing and communication plans based on defined goals and target audiences.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate campaign performances and provide findings/recommendations to leadership.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), Web traffic metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and audience persona research.
  • Strong project management skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively work as a team.
  • Have the ability to take general ideas and transform them into creative concepts with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.

Responsibilities

  • Upholds and models Goodwill’s mission, core values, and servant leadership philosophy.
  • Manages the execution of marketing and communication campaigns within project scope, including timelines, budgets, and production requirements.
  • Supports the development and execution of ongoing database segmentation strategies to increase campaign performance.
  • Manages Goodwill’s customer database and categorizes list by audience type and stakeholder interest.
  • Develops and executes strategies to increase customer database through online and offline efforts.
  • Collect audience feedback, present findings to leadership, and conduct market research as needed.
  • Analyzes email campaign performance and provides recommendations for improvement.
  • Serves as the primary POC for our e-mail marketing systems (ActiveCampaign.com).
  • Manages the tracking of campaign budget expenses against planned unit budgets, providing monthly updates to the team.
  • Works closely with the creative services to ensure mechanicals and design elements align with printer and supplier specifications.
  • Manages the relationship with vendors, ensuring quality assurance in pricing, execution, and service.
  • Codes and processes invoices associated with unit campaigns.
  • Manages collateral and promotional inventory, ensuring materials are always current and available for agency-wide distribution.
  • Assist with Out of Home advertising to include, but not limited to billboards, radio, and flags/banners.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
