About The Position

You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering leadership team and play a key role in delivering robust, producible hardware across major industrial programs, collaborating closely with operations and design teams. The mission of the team is to strengthen manufacturing solutions from early development through production, offering exposure to a wide range of processes and products. What makes this team unique is its end-to-end view of manufacturing and its strong culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. This onsite role is ideal for a candidate with the ambition to become a company-wide specialist in manufacturing turbomachinery hardware, from raw material to finished parts. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • DEC Minimum in mechanical, aerospace, or automation engineering
  • 6 years minimum experience
  • Bachelors in engineering
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated and applied manufacturing experience on PWC components.
  • Familiar with ESA process.
  • Manufacturing knowledge and/or inspection experience.
  • Functional use of SAP.
  • Quality assurance management experience.
  • CATIA & Polyworks knowledge.
  • Fluent in use of investigation quality tools (PPAP, SPC, quality clinics, pareto, fishbone diagrams, fault tree analysis).
  • IPT (Integrated Product Team) experience and knowledge of PWC's transition (re-sourcing) process

Responsibilities

  • Support to new program IPTs and international transitions (re-sourcing) activities for cost/producibility on various turbomachinery engine components.
  • Ensure support to customers such as engine programs, Campus 1/41, PWR, PWK, SPWAEC, PWM (internal producers), supply management.
  • Lead and apply producibility standard work for production readiness reviews, 3P events, Passports, MRL, RLPM, ESA & transition projects.
  • Link between engineering and internal producers and suppliers).
