And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position SummaryThe Manager, Legal Contract Management will be responsible for carrying out reviews of general contracts to verify compliance with contractual obligations, lessen legal risks, and support effective contract management processes. This role will also lead contract negotiation processes by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external parties, deliver outstanding quality service to internal and customers, provide expertise in the areas of customer contracts, negotiations, and project management and drive compliance with Aetna's internal and external obligations. This position reports into the Sr. Manager, Legal Contract Management.In order to be successful in this role you must exhibit the following:Demonstrated negotiation skills.Conflict management and problem-solving skills.Experience collaborating with others to complete multiple tasks on time (this may include leading a team of key contributors on conference calls/video meetings, while sharing screens and keeping everyone on task).Track record of implementing positive improvements and execution.Experience handling diverse assignments and multiple priorities with demanding turnaround times.Team player with a high level of communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive client relationships.Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills.Nimble and agile in interactions and in formulating solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of legal and/or contract negotiation experience.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills.
  • Conflict management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience collaborating with others to complete multiple tasks on time (this may include leading a team of key contributors on conference calls/video meetings, while sharing screens and keeping everyone on task).
  • Track record of implementing positive improvements and execution.
  • Experience handling diverse assignments and multiple priorities with demanding turnaround times.
  • Team player with a high level of communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills.
  • Nimble and agile in interactions and in formulating solutions.
  • Bachelor degree required or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
