Manager, Learning Management Systems
About The Position
The Manager, Learning Management Systems serves as the primary owner and subject matter expert for Virtuoso’s Cornerstone Learn platform. This role is responsible for the governance, configuration, optimization, and performance of the LMS, ensuring it effectively supports Professional Development initiatives across Virtuoso’s global network. This position provides functional leadership for learning management system operations and directly supervises one direct report. The Manager ensures the LMS remains scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 4–7 years of experience administering Cornerstone Learn strongly preferred. Preference given to Cornerstone Certification holders (Core System and Learning Management)
- Experience implementing system releases, managing system configurations and permissions, reporting frameworks, EDGE integrations and APIs, and vendor relationships
- Proficiency in creating Cornerstone custom pages, and basic HTML. Adobe Photoshop experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and lead projects

Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee the configuration, architecture, and optimization of Cornerstone Learn LMS.
- Establish and maintain LMS governance standards, workflows, permissions structures, and best practices.
- Evaluate and implement system updates, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Ensure system integrity, scalability, accessibility, and data security.
- Design and maintain LMS reporting frameworks and dashboards.
- Provide actionable insights on learner engagement, completion rates, and participation trends.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across system records.
- Serve as primary relationship owner with Cornerstone OnDemand.
- Manage system upgrades, release cycles, and support escalations.
- Evaluate LMS-related tools or enhancements within the Cornerstone ecosystem.
- Supervises and provide guidance for one direct report.
- Establish priorities, review deliverables, and ensure quality and timeliness of LMS operations.
- Serve as escalation point for complex system or configuration issues.
- Partner with Professional Development, IT, and other stakeholders to align LMS capabilities with business needs.
- Support change management and communication related to LMS updates or enhancements.
- Promote effective adoption and utilization of the LMS across the Virtuoso network.
