About The Position

The Manager of Learning & Development Programs leads the design, development, and delivery of training programs that support large-scale organizational transformation and platform adoption across newly acquired organizations. Reporting to the Senior Director of Learning & Development, this role manages a team of facilitators and L&D specialists responsible for executing high-impact training at scale. The Manager oversees curriculum creation, training rollout, and measurement of learning outcomes to ensure consistent adoption, capability building, and a smooth transition to company products, processes, and culture. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can translate business and operational goals into structured learning experiences that enable readiness and performance across diverse audiences.  This position is onsite 5 days a week at our Richardson, Texas location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required — in a relevant field such as: Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or related disciplines.
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role managing an L&D team or function.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and learning analytics.
  • Strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and performance consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to align learning initiatives with business strategy, measure impact, and communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders.

  • Professional certifications (optional but desirable): ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Kirkpatrick Four Levels Evaluation Certification Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar

Responsibilities

  • Owns the end-to-end planning and execution of acquisition-related training programs, including prioritization of learning initiatives and resource allocation.
  • Translate transformation and platform-adoption objectives into structured learning programs and delivery plans.
  • Define role-specific learning pathways aligned to acquisition readiness milestones.
  • Collaborate with the Learning Architect & Instructional Designer to ensure program design and delivery plans reflect business needs.
  • Ensure training solutions can be delivered consistently across varying acquisition environments.
  • Partners with the Senior Director to manage the L&D programs budget (vendor spend, travel, external facilitators, etc.), providing recommendations on cost-effective delivery models.
  • Lead L&D Specialists in creating facilitator guides, session plans, delivery checklists, and contextualized training materials that tailor core curriculum to the unique workflows and maturity levels of each acquired organization.
  • Ensure facilitators are equipped with clear talking points, timing structures, examples, demos, and client-specific adaptations.
  • Serve as the point of quality control for all live-delivery collateral, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with the instructional design team’s core content.
  • Partner with the Learning Architect & Instructional Designer to recommend refinements to core curriculum based on facilitation insights.
  • Manage large-scale training deployments that support system conversions, process adoption, and new product onboarding.
  • Oversee the scheduling, logistics, and delivery coordination for multi-week or multi-site rollout plans.
  • Monitor facilitator performance, ensuring consistent delivery quality and strong learner engagement.
  • Support facilitators with real-time guidance, escalation support, and coaching on delivery methods and adult learning practices.
  • Define and track key performance indicators related to readiness, learner confidence, adoption, and satisfaction.
  • Analyze survey data, facilitator reflections, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate training trends, risks, and readiness assessments to the Senior Director and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide structured feedback to the Learning Architect & Instructional Designer to inform iterative content enhancements.
  • Partner with Implementation, Operations, Product, and Client Success teams to ensure training aligns with transformation timelines and operational workflows.
  • Serve as a key liaison to business leaders impacted by transformation, ensuring expectations, change impacts, and readiness signals are clearly communicated.
  • Support change adoption through clear communication, reinforcement strategies, and learner readiness planning.
  • Lead and develop a team of L&D specialists and facilitators by modeling strong facilitation techniques, providing feedback, and promoting excellence in learner experience.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, team sizing, skill development, and training to build a capable, scalable team.
  • Manage staffing assignments, scheduling, and workload balancing to meet aggressive training timelines.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability within the facilitation team.
