About The Position

We are looking for a highly organized, detail‑oriented brand steward to lead brand strategy, governance and the end‑to‑end product/solution naming process across our global portfolio. This role ensures our brand shows up consistently, clearly, and credibly across every touchpoint—visually and verbally. As the Manager/Lead of Brand Strategy & Governance, you will define and operate our governance framework, drive naming decisions, maintain brand and creative standards, and guide teams in applying them. You will work closely with Legal/Trademark (OGC), Digital Marketing, Product & Portfolio Marketing, AR/PR and across Global Marketing to ensure the brand continues to evolve from a position of strength, consistently be delivered and help shape our positioning in the global marketplace. This is a high‑impact role that blends strategy with operational rigor. You will report to the Senior Director, and have a hybrid schedule working in Milwaukee, WI.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of work experience

  • Drive to do the work, excellent project management skills to ensure focus on priority assignments, and 'get it done' attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Governance Lead brand strategy initiatives including brand architecture, product and solution naming, and M&A brand integration
  • Own and operate the brand governance framework, including policies, workflows, and compliance
  • Drive company‑wide consistency in brand standards across marketing, product, and digital experiences
  • Serve as the primary authority for brand standards and naming protocols
  • Product, Solution & Portfolio Naming Lead the end‑to‑end naming process, from intake through legal review and approval
  • Maintain a centralized naming architecture, taxonomy, and registry
  • Partner with Product and Portfolio Marketing on naming aligned to customer clarity and differentiation
  • Creative Identity & Systems Govern the development and application of logos, sub‑brands, visual systems, and iconography
  • Ensure all externally facing assets meet brand, trademark, and legal standards
  • Conduct periodic brand audits and drive remediation plans
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership & Enablement Chair the Brand/Naming Governance Council
  • Provide visibility into naming demand, prioritization, and pipeline health
  • Build training, tools, and a clear source of truth for brand and naming standards
  • Manage relationships with internal creative teams and external agencies
  • The Science & Art of Brand Translate data, research, and market insights into strong brand positioning and campaigns
  • Balance analytical rigor with creative storytelling to solve complex brand challenges
