About The Position

Maintains Kitchen equipment/refrigeration systems/ plumbing systems by providing oversight; infrastructure support & managing staff / vendors/contractors. Requirements

  • Proven experience in kitchen equipment/refrigeration systems/ plumbing systems manager
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess OSHA 30

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a similar Hospitality Resort setting.
  • Complete understanding of SNHD food establishment regulations.
  • A degree in general education or at least a high school diploma with 3-4 years progressive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Accomplishes kitchen equipment/refrigeration systems/ plumbing systems maintenance objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Achieves kitchen equipment/refrigeration systems/ plumbing systems maintenance operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Adheres to SNHD/ Fire and building requirements, advising senior management on needed actions.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking systems material stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for required material; reviewing and approving invoices.
  • Keeps kitchen equipment/refrigeration systems/ plumbing systems operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Keeping up with job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
