About The Position

EmployIndy guides the local workforce ecosystem and makes strategic investments to remove barriers to quality employment for Marion County residents. The vision for EmployIndy is clear: for all Marion County residents to have access to services and training necessary to secure a livable wage and grow in a career that meets employer demand for talent. The Manager, K-12 Partnership Success is responsible for implementing and coordinating K-12 and career coaching strategies aligned with EmployIndy’s youth programming and IDOE. This position manages specific program components and career coaching initiatives, while ensuring high-quality service delivery through day-to-day partner support, coordination of activities, and alignment with programmatic goals. This role supports the Senior Director’s oversite of contractors and collaborates with schools, service providers, and community organizations to drive student access to meaningful career readiness and career-connected learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, social services, public administration, a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a related field is required.
  • Program management, Vendor management, Contract management knowledge/experience is required.
  • Leadership, communication, problem-solving, collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage execution of K-12 career readiness and coaching initiatives across designated schools and community sites.
  • Design employer-based PBL at all grade levels
  • Introduce and map social capital pathways integration
  • Ensure service provider and partner activities are aligned with program deliverables and timelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between schools, community organizations, and internal teams to implement career coaching and work-based learning activities.
  • Support relationship management with K-12 and youth-serving partners to ensure consistent program delivery.
  • Attend site visits and represent EmployIndy in school and partner meetings.
  • Ensure staff and partners have access to training, resources, and timely updates.
  • Establish data-sharing agreements
  • Track and input data related to program participation, student outcomes, and partner engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements based on feedback and performance data.
  • Support reporting for grants and contracts under guidance of the Senior Director.
  • Ensure students are prepared for participation in career experiences by supporting coaching and readiness activities.
  • Collect student feedback and assist in shaping programming that is equitable, relevant, and impactful.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
