More information is available at www.crisis24.garda.com As Manager, Internal Communications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Crisis24’s internal voice, aligning employees to business strategy, reinforcing organizational culture, and supporting business growth. You will craft and deliver strategic internal communications and develop internal campaigns, oversee leadership communications, evaluate and assess the effectiveness of communications channels.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 3 years in an internal communications management role, and at least 7 years’ experience in communications—ideally gained in-house at a multinational organization.
  • Education: University degree in communications or a related field, or equivalent experience deemed relevant.
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Able to translate business strategy and priorities into internal communications plans; use data and insights to inform work; and quickly understand, synthesize, and simplify complex concepts and information.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional at relationship building and influencing; comfortable working with and advising senior executives.
  • Communication: Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Working Style: Strong cross-functional collaboration, multi-tasking, and time management. Able to combine excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with fast pace of work and delivery.
  • Tools and Software: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, e-mail marketing tools (e.g., Poppulo), and familiarity with project management software is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of internal communications principles, best practices, and latest developments.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in organizations in the security, risk management, or consultancy/professional industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Internal Communications: Lead the internal communications strategy and delivery for Crisis24, including the creation and distribution of internal newsletters, leadership updates, intranet content, and townhall meetings (planning, content, preparation/briefing, and logistics).
  • Crisis Communications: Support holistic internal communications responses to crises and organizational issues/incidents in close partnership with the GardaWorld Global Communications team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to uncover stories, create a roster of internal spokespeople/subject matter experts (SMEs), lead media training and brief SMEs before internal events, presentations, or leadership communications.
  • Strategy and Planning: Translate business goals and priorities into internal communications roadmaps and initiatives, measuring impact and course correcting as needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular updates and reports (qualitative and quantitative) to the GardaWorld Global Communications team, Crisis24 cross-functional business partners, and leadership on internal communications activities and their impact.
  • Team Management: Line manage an advisor-level position, leading and supporting day-to-day priorities while contributing to this resource’s development and career growth.
