About The Position

We are seeking an experienced ICU Nurse Manager to lead unit operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical performance, staffing, and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and organizational goals.

Requirements

Recent (within the last year) acute care leadership experience in a critical care setting, such as:
Charge RN: 5+ years of experience
Supervisor: 3+ years of experience
Manager: 2+ years of experience (Relief/acting charge experience does not qualify)
Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required upon hire

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted if currently enrolled in a BSN program)

Responsibilities

Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes
Standardize clinical processes to reduce variation and improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditations, and benchmarks
Oversee proper maintenance and utilization of medical equipment
Manage patient admissions and discharges to optimize throughput
Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration across departments
Assign nursing staff based on patient needs and clinical competencies
Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery and staff performance
Promote a high standard of patient experience and engagement
Develop and manage staffing schedules in alignment with productivity goals
Monitor department expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and team engagement
