About The Position

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients recovering from anesthesia. This role involves working with both adult and pediatric populations in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of PACU nursing experience
• Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
• Experience with EPIC EMR system required
• Degree from an accredited nursing program (must be listed on profile) OR Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Floating is required; travelers will float first
• May be assigned to: Adult PACU Pediatric PACU Sister campuses

Nice To Haves

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia
• Provide comprehensive care to both adult and pediatric patients
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Float to other units or affiliated campuses as required
