About The Position

As the Manager, Instructional Design you'll play a critical role in shaping the learning culture and driving the professional growth of our contact center agents. By designing and developing innovative, scalable learning solutions, you will empower employees across the organization to unlock their full potential and excel in a dynamic media and entertainment environment. Additionally, you'll transform complex concepts into engaging, accessible learning experiences by collaborating closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders, ensuring training content drives meaningful knowledge transfer and business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience managing the design of scalable and engaging learning programs.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Expertise in learning design tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.) and familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, etc.) preferred.
  • Preferred experience working within a fast-paced, creative, or media/entertainment environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring instructional designers or learning consultants preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
  • Passion for innovation in digital learning and learner experience.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of scalable learning programs and materials across a variety of modalities (e-learning, virtual instructor-led, in-person, blended, etc.)
  • Manage end-to-end instructional design processes, including needs analysis, curriculum design, content development, deployment, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), HR Business Partners, and cross-functional teams to translate complex concepts into engaging learning solutions.
  • Leverage learning technology tools (LMS, authoring tools, digital platforms) to deliver and manage training content.
  • Develop measurement strategies to assess learning impact and effectiveness, using data to inform iteration and improvement.
  • Stay informed of emerging trends and best practices in instructional design, adult learning theory, and workplace education.
