Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining accounts, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities for product or service recommendations. Requirements

  • Knowledge of sales techniques in an industrial setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales involving valve equipment.
  • Experience or strong willingness to develop key relationships.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; customer service oriented
  • Highly motivated to be trained to market and sell in multi-product environment where cross selling and customer retention is essential.
  • 3-5 years of valve industry administrative/customer service experience required

Responsibilities

  • Answering customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms
  • Meeting all sales objectives and handling all aspects from quote process to order delivery.
  • Emphasizing product features based on analyses of customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
  • Maintaining customer records and processing sales from ERP systems.
  • Selecting the correct products or assisting customers in making product selections based on their needs, product specifications and all other applicable regulations
  • Ability to establish and expand relationships with current accounts and decision makers both domestic and international customers.
  • Participate in company sponsored clients events such as trainings, Customer meetings (on and off site), webinars etc.
  • Proactively call Customers to follow up on Quotes and Projects.
  • Actively identify and prospect new target customers
  • Reactivation of dormant accounts and new business development activities
  • Various sales activities linked to revenue generation and marketing campaigns.
  • Utilization and updating internal systems
  • Support sales efforts of outside sales team
