About The Position

The Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of distributive pharmacy services, ensuring the provision of pharmaceutical care to Froedtert patients. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare team members to proactively address drug distribution challenges, overseeing and maintaining quality assurance programs, and providing leadership and supervision for all Central Pharmacy workflows. The manager reports directly to the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations and will undertake other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience
B.S. or Pharm. D. degree received from an ACPE certified school of pharmacy
Demonstration of effective team building skills
Ability to communicate effectively with other health care professionals and patients in order to provide optimal pharmaceutical care
Ability to prioritize responsibilities in order to optimize patient care and minimize adverse outcomes
Wisconsin pharmacist license (or eligible for)

Nice To Haves

Completion of a PGY-2 residency
Two years of prior supervisory experience
