This role is a Hybrid Role: Employees are expected to work from our New York, NY or Kenilworth, NJ office 3 days per week and may work remotely the remaining days This role within Revlon’s Innovation Operations & Strategy team drives cross-functional project excellence across key business pillars including New Product Development (NPD), Business Continuity, Design to Value, and Quality. With a focus on optimizing productivity and alignment, the position leverages financial acumen and strategic communication to enable data-driven decision-making and ensure project health. The role is instrumental in stakeholder engagement and management, governance adherence, and timeline accountability, operating within stage-gate and steering committee frameworks to deliver high-impact results across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience; prefer 2+ years in FMCG, CPG or OTC healthcare.
  • Project management experience leading/managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in at least two functional areas (e.g., R&D, Supply Chain, Project Management, Procurement, Marketing, etc.)
  • PM certification (PMI, PMBOK) or other documented intra-company certification/training are desirable
  • Experience interacting with senior leadership required
  • Proficiency in Excel required; familiarity with financial concepts preferred. Experience with JMP and Power BI is desirable.
  • Must be familiar with standard PM tools and templates. Strong MS Office suite skills; can demonstrate expertise with MS Project. Familiarity with stage-gate processes
  • Direct, successful leadership experience within a global, matrix organization. One can show evidence of directing, motivating and facilitating skilled professionals in a dynamic, high pressure, constantly changing environment.
  • Highly developed leadership skills, able to lead from the back, middle and front.

  • Enterprise leadership and facilitation, collaboration, attention to detail, significant experience and demonstrated proficiency in MS Project and in planning, and demonstrated business acumen, project management, communication, process management and team performance management.
  • Possess strong facilitation skills to drive the team to deliver results, engage teams in healthy debate/conflict, and deliver solutions.
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Bachelor's Degree is required, typically a degree in Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Business or a related discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • PM certification (PMI, PMBOK) or other documented intra-company certification/training are desirable
  • Proficiency in Excel required; familiarity with financial concepts preferred. Experience with JMP and Power BI is desirable.
  • Master’s degree or MBA or other advanced degrees are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end timeline management for all projects, including NPD, DTV, BC, Quality, and Tariff.
  • Govern project execution, ensuring adherence to guidelines and gate review standards.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams, independently managing timelines, critical paths, and deliverables.
  • Track and report project status, risks, and impact to support strategic goals and decision-making.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and guide teams in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Champion projects, driving results and motivating teams toward successful outcomes.
  • Partners across departments (Marketing, Finance, R&D, Packaging, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain) to align NPDs with business objectives and ensure successful launches.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to maintain updated Masterplans and initiate projects per leadership guidelines.
  • Secure stakeholder alignment on scope, planning, financials, and risks before gate presentations.
  • Ensure project recommendations meet business objectives and gain approval through stage-gate or steering committees.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and flag projects at risk due to scope or financial deviations.
  • Support portfolio reviews with functional leads across NPD, BC, DTV, Quality, and Tariff.
  • Maintain project documentation, templates, dashboards, and communication tools.
  • Facilitate transparent communication and accountability across teams.
  • Lead “lessons learned” sessions to integrate insights and improve processes.
  • Recommend training to enhance team performance and skills.
  • Monitor team metrics to ensure alignment with goals.
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Anticipate potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Encourage creative thinking to overcome project roadblocks.
  • Analyze feedback and data to make informed decisions.
  • Balance short-term fixes with long-term project health.
  • Manage competing deadlines and resource constraints effectively.
  • Help teams stay focused on high-impact tasks.
  • Ensure timely delivery of milestones without compromising quality.
  • Use tools and techniques to streamline workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
